The Federal government is going to spend up to $200 billion to bail out the mortgage industry, Freddie and Fannie. The auto industry is requesting $50 billion as a bail out. Indy Mac banks failure in California will be about $10 billion in government funds. This is all taxpayer money, with no evidence it will help the population at all.And, they took risk and made mistakes like anyone else, why are they entitled to get this money? Are you in favor of this?
Most of these companies are public companies. If they are allowed to fold the same tax payers will bear the brunt and it will undermine the entire worlds financial system’s integrity. Tax payers money will be well spent to rescue. These comapanies have contributed their share of the profits into the govt. coffers.—- Time to pay back…
America would be able to be a Governmaent for the people, even better if 12,000 politicians & their interests make them jump out of windows!History again,? Why does any one in their normal mind volentier to pay tax to this that we fought to rebel from?
Pay my interest only mortgage,Audit me & take tax, penelties , interest.Promise medical, promise social security,& bail out people that put America at risk! I hate to say that America is America because we revolted!As real Americans it is our duty to change this leadership. God Bless America, because voting aint enough.
1/2 MILLION DOLLARS FOR EACH OF THE 100 MILION REGISTERED TAX PAYERS WOULD HAVE BEEN A GOOD BAIL OUT PLAN, WE COULD ALL HAVE PAID OFF OUR HOMES AND MANY WOULD HAVE CHANGE TO SPARE.
BANKS WOULD HAVE THE MONIES BACK AND MANY INDIVIDUALS COULD
ELIMINATE A LOT OF DEBIT
It has never been “handouts” that make this country great. It is hard work and self-determination. Even in these hard times, we should strive to stay free of socialism. I want to continue to live in a country where people steal their way in. I do not want socialism where we end up behind a Berlin Wall with guns holding us in. Let’s be careful what you wish for. As Thomas Jefferson said, “A country rich enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you own.”
